published by my great grandmother,
Ida Ann Edgecomb Wylie. Though it is
said that she had hundreds of copies
around the house, I've not been able
to find one or anyone who has one.
The Director of the
Boothbay
Regional Historical Society
in Boothbay Harbor, Maine
told me about the song
and said it was
a
very popular song
and a real tear
jerker during
that great
era.
